"I started my sons at Vista from Kindergarten because I had heard how strong, respectable and caring the principal and staff was. The moral focus traits that the staff exemplifies are key as my children will see them as role models when I am not around. As a parent, I want and need that for my children. It is a tough society and to get ahead you must be strong in all basic skills. I must admit, I thought there was a lot of homework. One day one of my sons’ friends was over. (He attends a public school, 1st grade) and I noticed how this little guy was not reading at the level of my kindergartener. It seems he never has homework, he is outside playing while my sons are doing homework. After I compared his reading level to my son’s, it was apparent to me that I won’t be complaining about my sons homework again! I am getting what I need for my children's education and their future. Vista Charter Academy has afforded us the right foundational choices and tools that will allow my children to go on. With wise academic choices and an investment of my time as a parent, I am setting my children up for a SUCCESSFUL future!
