Students enrolled in sixth, seventh and eighth grade are eligible to participate in the following sports:
- Girls and Boys Basketball
- Girls and Boys Soccer
- Girls Cheerleading
- Cross Country
- Girls Volleyball
Activities available for other grade levels:
Girls on the Run – This is a national prevention program for preteen girls to develop self respect and healthy lifestyles through running.
Vista Voices – Is the school choir that performs at school events.
National Junior Honor Society – Seventh and eighth grade students have the opportunity to be inducted into the prestigious National Junior Honor Society.
HATTs – High Achievers Think Tank is a pull-out program for high achieving second and third grade students. These students are chosen by their teachers and meet once a week to work together on challenging projects such as a newspaper or creating a volcano. They can also meet after school once a week and participate in field trips. Some of the beautiful murals in the school were created by this group of talented students.

Activities available for Vista Parents:
Vista also offers evening classes for parents. They include an English class for Spanish speaking parents and a computer class for parents interested in enhancing their computer skills and software knowledge.
